In complex environments where power imbalances and vulnerabilities can lead to harm, a ‘Safeguarding Focal Point’ plays a critical role. They are often the first point of contact when a concern arise, and their response can shape trust in the safeguarding system.

This training equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to handle safeguarding concerns with sensitivity, clarity and accountability, while strengthening a positive safeguarding culture. Delivered over four weeks, this course combines self-paced e-learning (weeks 1 & 3) with two live, zoom sessions of 90 minutes (weeks 2 & 4). It offers a balance of foundational knowledge, reflective learning, and practical skill-building. Content is customised based on a pre-training survey to ensure relevance to participants’ contexts.
